This top flight furnishing carpet is single wefted and belongs to the Karaja family, though, with its open design and liberal use of pale blue, is more like a Bakshaish in its aesthetics. A piece of good age, 1870-1890, it remains in very nice condition, a few old repairs and traces of use, even low pile through out.
