A Victorian solid mahogany pedestal desk of excellent quality.
c1880.
The pedestals have four graduating drawers each, flanking a long central single drawer, so nine drawers in total.
The drawers are of dove-tail construction and mahogany lined, showing excellent quality.
Retaining the original brass handles, original locks and brass escutcheons.
Standing on a plinth base with castors.
In excellent antique condition. The leather is newly fitted so is unused.
Very solid, sturdy and strong.
The desk top is fixed but can easily be dismantled if necessary by unscrewing in the top of the second drawer down.

Height of the underside from the floor where legs go-64cm.
