Description

Very decorative and well proportioned French Louis XV style walnut and brass mounted freestanding bureau plat with a gilt embossed leather top, circa 1900.

This would also make a fabulous dressing table with either a standing mirror on the top or a wall mounted mirror.

Lovely shape to this piece with the curved top helping it to free stand without any harsh corners.

The leather top is in good condition, a rich dark tone so it will work alongside fabrics etc.

There is one central drawer to one side only, whilst the rear is fully brass mounted and has a “faux” drawer.

Great piece of decorative but very useable French furniture.
