Description

An Edwardian period, rosewood inlaid folding campaign desk, Circa 1905. This solid rosewood desk folds up for ease of transport. The exterior cabinet features panelled sides with sunburst inlay. The interior features fitted out leather notepad, letter, pen holders and other compartments. Brass press button lock, securing brass press buttons. Hinged partially rotating X-legs with fluted axle, the back legs with supporting stretcher.

A rare and charming, totally original campaign desk. In good condition.

This desk measures approximately 71.5 cm (28") tall to the folded out work-surface, 96.5 cm (38") tall folded up, 62 cm (24.5") wide, and 61.5 cm (24.5") deep folded out.

Condition:

Little wear to finish and some fading to the colour. Totally original. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
