Magnificent Early 20th Century Chinese Mahogany Bench

Description

Exquisite hand-carved Chinese sofa bench, constructed of solid mixed rosewood and hardwood. High relief carvings of dragons, mythical beast, phoenix and decorative elements. Centered on the back by 3 Chinese marble Dali or dream-stone panels meant to inspire. These highly prized artifacts are increasingly sought after. The bench is in excellent original condition, recently been re-polished and cleaned, no odours or smells.

Wonderful patina with age. Place of Origin: China. Materials: Solid mixed rosewood & mahogany/Marble . Floor to seat: 16.5in (42cm)
