Beautiful small scale all over design, with varying greens and blues and off whites, this antique Mahal carpet dating from the early 20th century, is in brilliant full pile and condition. With a soft wool pile all over and woven with natural dyes. Professionally cleaned and in original order it is ready to use on the floor. Not having a central medallion makes this an easy antique carpet to place in a variety of rooms. Woven around circa 1910 the colours have faded beautifully, these decorative carpets from Northern Persia are full of charm and suit country houses to London apartments.
