A delightful size satinwood secretaire chiffonier commissioned by James White for Eliza Patterson and

probably made by The renowned firm of Gillows of Lancaster.

A beautiful figured satinwood with lovely ebony detailing to the whole. With elegant two tier shelf

to a secretaire drawer above two compartmentalized drawers. Furnished with original gilt brass handles

above two doors with recessed panel opening to reveal an adjustable shelved area. The whole raised on

turned toupie feet. c1790
