Antique Ersari Turkmen 9 gul chuval of large size.
Circa 1900.
The chuval is well drawn with nine guls on a madder red ground, the border design and the minor guls are all classic Turkmen designs. The elem contains many small flowering shrubs.
The chuval has slight even wear with good pile.
Hand washed and ready for use or display. This would and excellent small rug, ideal as a hearth rug.
