Description

An Edwardian freestanding mahogany pedestal desk of large size, the inverted breakfront top with carved edge and crossbanding, with a faded red tooled leather insert with gilded edge, over a long central drawer and two short drawers to the sides, over twin pedestals each fitted with three drawers, and to the back with line moulding on the fronts, on a carved base raised on short carved cabriole legs with ball and claw feet. English circa 1910.

Condition: Excellent, the desk presents very well with good colour and free from any major scratches or scuffs. The leather top is in good condition with a pleasing amount of wear and colour. The tooled border is in good condition.
