A late 19th Century Austrian cold painted bronze novelty inkwell in the form of a pug dog. The head is hinged to reveal an ink well.
Stamped ''Geschutz'', this piece could well be a Bergman but there are no other marks.
Some paint has rubbed off and reveals the bronze base.
Apart from this its in good condition and has a lot of appeal.
