Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Nouveau allegorical prints from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries combine naturalistic floral forms with classical symbolic imagery. These works often depict female figures representing nature, seasons, or abstract concepts amidst stylised organic motifs.

Frames from this period frequently utilised solid hardwoods such as mahogany or walnut, embellished with gilt slips and cast bronze or brass mounts featuring whiplash curves and botanical shapes.

Authentic period pieces display period-appropriate printing techniques such as photogravure or chromolithography, original timber backing boards, and genuine cast metal mounts showing natural age-related patination or oxidisation.

A large framed Art Nouveau artwork functions effectively as a focal point above a contemporary sideboard or fireplace mantelpiece, contrasting structured modern furniture with organic period design.

Keep the artwork away from direct sunlight and humid environments to prevent fading and foxing. Clean the glass with a dry microfibre cloth and dust the timber frame and brass mounts using a soft brush.
