A rare and attractive Shassavan long rug from the Moghan step. Cruciform medallions woven on blood red madder ground framed by fat ivory borders. The piece has very naïve and charming drawing and exceptional wool and colour. a striking, authentic and quite early item that should excite the connoisseur. Full pile over 95% of the piece, very slight wear in one area, no repairs. deep cleaned and floor ready.
