Large antique 19th century Chinese bronze sectional jardiničre,c1870. This is a large and impressive piece which breaks down into sections. It is nicely cast and decorated extensively with birds and foliage over the bowl and stem. It has aged well with good colour/patina and overall condition is good with only minor surface wear / rubbing and a few very small dents. A few of the lugs which lock the sections in place have worn slightly so it ''wobbles'' if moved but is structurally sound and stands well. All these issues are minor and very much as you would expect from a piece of this age.
