A handsome early 20th century mahogany pedestal desk of excellent quality.
c.1920.
Having a newly fitted fine quality brown leather inset writing surface, with superb quality tooling.
The two pedestal have different drawer configurations. The left drawer has three short drawers. The right pedestal has a small top drawer over a double height compartmented file drawer. Above each pedestal are wooden pull-out slides.
To the centre is a single long drawer.
Lovely original brass swan-neck handles.
All brass locks are present.
The sides and back are attractively panelled.
Standing on block feet.
In excellent condition. Having a rich patina and wonderful character to the mahogany.
Very solid, sturdy and strong.
Dismantles to three sections, so very easy to maneuver.
