An excellent quality late Victorian desk.

To the top is an inset green leather writing surface with gold tooled decoration, in very good condition.
Having five drawers in total, with superb quality and very ornate original brass handles. The centre drawer has the Maple & Co stamp.
Standing on elegant turned legs with two very useful under-tier shelves. Terminating in brass and porcelain castors.
The back of the desk is finished so could stand in the centre of a room if required.
In excellent antique condition, with minor signs of use consistent with age. No key.
Strong, solid and sturdy.
