An excellent quality Edwardian ladies writing desk.

Decorated throughout with satinwood cross-banding, and boxwood stringing inlay.

An inset green leather writing surface with gold tooled decoration, in very good condition.
The drawers are mahogany lined, showing great quality, having elegant gilt brass round neoclassical design handles. All locks and escutcheons are present.

Standing on tapering legs with brass and porcelain castors.
The back of the desk is finished so could stand in the centre of a room if required.
In very good antique condition, with expected signs of use consistent with age. No key.

Strong, solid and sturdy.
