A simply stunning Edwardian satinwood pedestal desk.
c1910.
Bow fronted pedestals, having nine drawers in total, which are solid mahogany lined and of fine dove-tail construction. The quality of this outstanding desk is very evident. All the original ornate brass handles are present.
To the top is an inset green leather tooled writing surface, which is in very good condition and again of excellent quality.
The colour and richness of the satinwood is wonderful, it glistens as satinwood should.
The overall condition is excellent antique condition, having minor expected general signs of age and use.
Dismantles to three sections, the top lifts off, leaving the two pedestals, so very easy to manoeuvre.
