This outstanding desk, shows high quality Victorian craftsmanship.
The top opens to reveal two small drawers with turned handles, with pigeon holes below, and storage space.

This is over three drawers, with turned handles, the centre drawer being a dummie drawer.
To the base is a vast amount of storage space, having four graduating drawers with flush turned handles, behind a moulded panelled door front, to the left side. To the centre are five compartments for files. The right side opens to reveal an interior with many compartments of varying sizes, with the door opening in a box form, with many square compartments. An unusual, beautifully engineered desk of great quality.

Lovely figuring to the mahogany.
Standing on a plinth base.
The desk dismantles onto two sections. The top writing section including the three drawers, lifts off the lower section which stays complete.
The overall condition is excellent antique condition, having general, very minor signs of use consistent with age, the leather is in good condition, with some but very minimal signs of use.

Rich, warm colour, original finish.
