Description

A charming edwardian painted break front linen press/compactum in the neo classical style. A wardrobe to the right with the original shaped bevel glass mirror and internally a rail and hooks. The two door press cupboard houses three original slide drawers, the doors inset with oval painted panels and florally decorated with swags. Below is a four drawer chest section. It has been painted a number of times in its life (currently pale green) and is flaking in places. The drawer handles and rosettes are mismatched, an internal catch keeps the right hand door firmly in place but the press doors are not flush when closed. This is a substantial piece of furniture and comes into 4 sections for transportation. The measurements are: height 80 inches, depth 22 inches, width at top 74 inches.
