Victorian Walnut Piano Front Pop Up Davenport Desk

Description

We are pleased to bring this super Victorian desk to the market , this figured walnut davenport desk is lovely quality and condition , the bookmatched walnut veneered lockable piano front fall opens to reveal a super clean interior ,including a green tooled leather pull out scribe plus various drawers and storage compartments one of which houses the secret button required to raise the fitted pop up top, which itself is further fitted with drawers and filling compartments , the right hand side of the desk has four full length lockable drawers with neat bun handles , the opposing side has the dummy equivalent , all stood on its original cups hiding the brass casters , a great desk !!

Condition is ready for immediate home use having been polished to enhance the look of the superb figured walnut veneers which have nicely evenly faded over the past 140 years , just gorgeous !
