This men's wristwatch dates from the 1950s in the mid-century modern style, constructed from gold-filled metal, brass, acrylic, and a black leather strap. The round gold-coloured case houses a cream dial featuring a crosshair pattern, gilt dagger batons, Arabic numerals at twelve, three, and nine o'clock, arrow hour markers, a sub-seconds dial, and gold-toned hands, marked with the Omega brand name and logo alongside the word century. Signs of age include visible patination and spotting across the dial surface. The strap fastens with an original Omega buckle and connects to curved lugs flanking the textured winding crown on the side. Designed for personal wear, this timepiece suits a gentleman's library or dressing table display when not in use. The case measures 34 mm in width excluding the crown, 40 mm in height, and 10 mm in depth.

Mechanical dress watches from the 1950s are slim timepieces powered by manual-wind or automatic movements, designed with uncluttered dials and refined metal cases intended for formal attire.

Mid-century gold timepieces typically feature solid gold or gold-filled cases paired with acrylic crystals, brass dial plates, and genuine leather or woven metal straps.

Authentic pieces feature period-correct movement calibre numbers stamped inside the case back, sharp branding typography on the dial, and consistent age-appropriate patination across metal components.

A vintage wristwatch can be styled as a personal accessory alongside contemporary tailoring, or curated on a leather watch stand within a dressing room display.

Keep vintage timepieces away from moisture and strong magnetic fields, wind manual movements gently without forcing the crown, and store in a dry, temperature-controlled environment.
