This is a fabulous opportunity to treat yourself to an outstanding and totally original 1930s Art Deco super king size bed. These style of beds that scream the Art Deco style are very few and far between and anyone who loves this era or collects from it will know this too. Originating from Italy and attributed to Ducrot a firm of Palermo. The veneers are exotic and an absolute joy. The added ebonized plinth on the footboard really makes the walnut veneer pop and gives the added wow factor. Then we have the pair of carved cherubs that sit centre stage to the footboard. How more glamourous can a bed get? These are supported by doweling and can be taken on or off with ease should you so wish. We've photographed with and without. This bed is a European King or a super king for the UK. Photographed In natural daytime light so you can get a true idea of it's colouring and tone, which is a warm mid tone walnut brown with hints of honey. The whole bed has been bed fully and professionally restored in our workshops. For UK customers the bed comes with a custom made slatted wooden base. Photographed without its side rails, they are wooden panels not veneered.
