Description

This fabulous Classic Straight Rail style bed has a lovely amount of brass detail, which we have cleaned and polished to a gorgeous and bright finish, which tones beautifully with the colour of the bed. This is continued throughout the bed with the brass top and bottom rails, the brass knees, collars, and finials/knobs. Instead of castings, the bed is connected by truly lovely brass ball joints, further adding to the overall charm of this bed.

Professionally restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. All joints checked for a solid and secure fit. The side rails have been adapted to be able to take slats or a bed base.

The frame has been shot blasted, primed and hand painted with Little Greene’s Invisible Green, waxed to protect and give a soft sheen. As with any of our Iron beds, they can be re-painted in any colour of your choosing, do enquire for quotation.
