This Queen Anne Revival dressing table dates from the 1920 period, formed from warm brown burr walnut with a serpentine front and a moulded top edge. The piece comprises five drawers, including a central drawer flanked by two pairs of drawers, all fitted with small brass drop handles and raised on cabriole legs. Above sits a triptych mirror assembly consisting of a large central arched glass panel between two smaller folding side mirrors in matching wooden frames. The dimensions are 153 cm high, 114.5 cm wide, and 53 cm deep. Suitable for placement in a bedroom or dressing room, the unit provides surface space and storage while serving as a mirror vanity station for daily grooming routines. The warm timber grain and polished finish complement traditional and transitional interiors, accommodating personal care items within the drawer compartments.

Dressing tables from the 1920s often feature Queen Anne Revival design elements, characterised by graceful cabriole legs, figured burr walnut veneers, and serpentine-curved drawer fronts paired with integrated triple mirrors.

These pieces typically feature solid timber frames finished with highly figured burr walnut veneers, bevelled glass mirror panels, and cast brass drop handles or pulls.

Authentic pieces from this period exhibit hand-fitted dovetailed drawer construction, carved cabriole legs, original bevelled triptych mirror glass, and natural timber grain variation beneath the finish.

A period dressing table serves as a functional focal point in a bedroom or dressing space when paired with neutral wall treatments, understated lighting, and minimal tabletop accessories.

Dust timber surfaces regularly with a dry microfibre cloth, apply beeswax sparingly following the direction of the grain, and clean glass mirror surfaces using a dedicated cleaner applied directly to a cloth.
