Gents Omega Wrist Watch, 1960

Description

Gents Omega wrist watch, 1960.

The watch has a 17-jewel calibre 268 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 17,659,462 which dates it back to 1960.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the Omega winding crown and lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in lovely condition, just a small slight indentation to the back. The inside of the case back has the Omega logo and the reference 14713-7 which is correct for the calibre 268.

The lens is in good condition (some white reflection showing in the photos).

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands and a subsidiary seconds dial. Some light marking to the dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
