Gents Omega Geneve wrist watch, 1970.
The watch has a 17-jewel calibre 601 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 30,859,043 which dates it back to 1970.
The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the signed winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition. The screw-on case back is signed inside with the Omega logo and it has the case reference 135.070 which is correct for the calibre 601 movement. The back of the watch states that it is waterproof however, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.
The Omega lens, with the tiny clear logo to the centre, is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands and centre seconds hand. There is light marking to the dial if you look closely.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
