Painted Marble Top Louis Philippe Commode (Five Drawers)

Description

A smaller than standard sized French marble top chest, Louis Philippe era circa 1840. Later painted.

The chest features a grey marble with white veining and a ribbed edge. It has four drawers plus a 'secret drawer' to the bottom and is oak lined, denoting good quality of construction.

A nice decorative piece of genuine age.
