A truly wonderful piece of 18th century Italian furniture,

The wood appears to be a type of Walnut and has a gorgeous patina . The drawers are heavily lined with elaborate handlesand original locks. Sadly no key.

The secret drawer situated below the chest top is divided into several compartments .

The chest itself is extremely heavy and would be better suited to s downstairs space.
