Description

A gorgeous Georgian Iron and brass bed, made before cast iron was the popular way to make Iron bedsteads. Sturdily riveted together this bed has a gorgeous sleek appearance with the loveliest uprights, these have a delightful bulb detail in the middle of them which we have gently highlighted in liquid gold leaf. Very simple, stylish and overall, rather chic we feel. Perfect for any home, from traditional cottages to modern settings.

Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Invisible Green – a colour inspired by popular Georgian green tones, with details highlighted in Liquid Gold Leaf, gently distressed to acknowledge and honour the beds age, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All joints checked for secure fit.
