Description

Central or east anatolia, 2nd quarter 20th century.

Attractive grain sack with brocaded details to front and rear. Striped rear with tassels to each corner.

These make great wall hangings as objects of utilitarian ethnic interest and can be used as rugs on the floor or stuff them for a cushion.

All made from wool. There is a small hole to the bottom edge and a small hole to the rear striped back,all imaged.

Size is 2 foot 11 inches by 2 foot. 89cm X 62cm. Tassels not measured in size.
