Description

A quality George II period oak open pot board three drawer dresser with wonderful colour and original patina c.1750. Planked top with moulded edge, sat over a three drawer base. The three drawers with cock bead edges and original brass swan neck fittings; deep apron below supported by substantial turned supports. Original planked pot board with framed edge to the base sat on the original plinth with original stiles forming the feet. Substantial construction throughout with visible pegged joints, wonderful rich original colour and patination, unusually shallow proportions.
