Flame Mahogany Chiffonier Side Cabinet C.1870

Description

Useful mahogany chiffonier side cabinet c.1870. Very well figured flame mahogany top with a crossbanded edge over two drawers and a two door cupboard fitted with a single shelf inside (internal depth 12"). Moulded drawer fronts with flame mahogany centres and the original brass handles. Symmetrically arranged flame mahogany veneers (on solid mahogany groundwork) and moulded column pilasters to the door fronts. Square plinth raised on turned bun feet front and rear. Patched repairs to the veneer toward the rear of both sides of the top, and a small repair on the corner of the plinth. Otherwise very good colour and condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
