Antique Waltham full hunter pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a 7-jewel Traveler grade stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 17,468,380 which dates it back to 1908. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, case manufacturer and supplier to Waltham UK. The case is in good condition, just general light surface marks, nothing serious at all.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.

Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The dial is also in lovely condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.

The watch comes with a rolled gold double chain with each length of chain measuring 21cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar is stamped, ‘best rolled gold’. Also included is a matching fob which is free from personal inscriptions. There are general surface marks to the fob just from use.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
