Description

Superb Quality Regency Mahogany Side Cabinet Chiffonier c.1820 with lovely figured mahogany to the upstand, top, ogee shaped drawer front, panelled doors and ends.

Decorative hand turned bead mouldings to the upstand shelf and to the edges of the top.

Scrolling 'S' supports to the shelf with well carved shell and leaf decoration to the upstand typical of this period.

Plain turned columns to each end of the cabinet base and turned oval applied mouldings to the plinth.

Attractive original ring turned squat feet. Cabinet doors open to reveal single adjustable shelf.

An exceptionally fine quality piece in superb condition with excellent colour and original French polish finish.
