This Georgian serpentine mahogany sideboard displays a warm brown timber colour with rich flame mahogany veneer patterns across the front panels and central drawer. The piece rests upon six square tapering legs with spade feet and has brass lion mask drop ring handles attached to the doors and drawers. An original key operates all the locks, which are made of brass by TWS of London. The serpentine front incorporates a pair of central drawers flanked by a small cupboard and a cellaret drawer, shaped with fine mouldings. Measuring 138 cm in length by 92 cm in height and 58 cm in depth, the sideboard functions well in a dining room, hallway, or living space as a serving surface or storage console.
