The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this 1950s Berg Parat Wristwatch to the 1950s.
The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. The case is in lovely condition, just some wear to the retaining ring on the back of the watch.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is signed Berg Parat, a brand name registered by the German watchmaker Wilhelm Beutter of Pforzheim and Rosenfeld, Germany in 1951. The dial is in its original finish and it looks really smart… if viewed through a jeweller’s loupe, there are tiny white dots but they do not show to the naked eye. Original hands and centre seconds hand.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
