This is a beautiful 19th century watercolour painting of a Rosella parrot in lovely bold colours depicting the bird perched on a tree branch.

The painting is very well executed by the artist R.Hurst and is signed and dated 1880 to the lower margin.

This is in nice original condition and is mounted in a characterful rosewood, period frame that measures 65 cms by 55 cms overall.
