A handsome and practical George III fruitwood dresser base dating from the late 18th century, showcasing a warm honey-toned patina and excellent country house character. This well-proportioned piece features a traditional arrangement of three drawers across the top, with two central drawers below flanked by cupboard doors on either side.

An interesting and highly functional feature is that the lower two central drawers are dummy drawer fronts, concealing a full-width central cupboard section behind, providing generous storage space while maintaining the classic drawer-front appearance.
