A superb and rare Victorian teak military campaign side cabinet dating from the mid-19th century. Crafted in solid teak with a rich colour and beautiful figured grain, this exceptional piece retains its original brass fittings throughout.
The cabinet features two panelled doors with a brass closing strip and working lock with key, enclosing three fitted drawers. A particularly unusual feature is the original brass locking mechanism which secures all three drawers simultaneously.
Further benefits include brass carrying handles to the sides, brass-mounted corners, and turned bun feet.
Presented in very good condition, this is a fine example of Victorian campaign furniture, combining practicality, quality craftsmanship and timeless appeal.
