A beautiful antique Kurdish runner, hand woven circa 1900. The design features a series of multicoloured diagonal bands surrounded by a border of stylised flowers and vines. Woven with soft, velvety wool and lovely secondary colours of reds, greens, blues and golds
 
Size: 2.63m x 1.09m (8ft 8in x 3ft 7in)
 
This runner is in good condition with age related wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
