Each mounted on a plinth base of figured green ‘verde mare’ marble. Well-cast detail to the column capitals, entablatures and block bases.
Architectural reductions are this type were produced in marble, alabaster and bronze as souvenirs for wealthy tourists visiting the cultural sites and sights of Europe whilst completing the cultural ‘Grand Tour’ in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
