Description

The best of the best! Just a small morsel survives of this wonderful 18th century chuval (large transport sack) but what great power it has. The Salor are well known as the Turkoman tribe that produced the most magical trappings and are cherished by collectors and dealers alike. Very few complete examples exist so even little pieces are appreciated, as even though this is perhaps 20% of the original it carries 100% of the star power. Finely woven with excellent pile height, typical magenta silk details in the guls and heavily depressed warp.
