Gents Omega wrist watch, 1944.
The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 30T2, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 10,030,670 which dates it back to 1944.
The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown (believed to be the original unsigned crown) and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition. The inside of the case back has the Omega logo, together with the case reference 2338 which is correct for the calibre 30T2.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial appears to be in its original finish, the concentric circles in the sub seconds dial are still nice and crisp. Feuille shaped hands.
A later leather strap has been fitted, it has a later Omega buckle.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
