An Edwardian satinwood bow front desk with a shaped leather inset top, bordered by gilt and blind tooling and enclosed by a pierced brass gallery. The bowed frieze houses a single long drawer fitted with decorative brass handles, opening to reveal fitted compartments. Crossbanded edges and fine inlaid lines accentuate the curved form, while square tapering legs support the frame.
