Antique Pewter has dated this Antique Swiss Pewter Biberon to the 18th Century.
A scarce example of a Swiss pewter 'biberon'; these were usually hung from a bracket on the wall in a Swiss farmhouse kitchen, they contained the clean fresh drinking water for the family, the water would be drawn through the spout on the front. This fine example has bears head castings to the spout and where the swing handle joins the body.

Condition:
Excellent condition with a polished silver grey finish and some small traces of light oxide.
