Brief Description:
Note: We have one other sculpture that was made by the same 19th-century company depicting Rembrandt - please see our other listings.
The above impressive piece weighs 4.1 kg, and it is of a beautiful patina.
It dates to the 19th-century Victorian period.
The sculpture portrays Rubens standing upon a circular wooden base in deep thought, with his artist's palette in one arm.
He is dressed in the typical Baroque clothing of the era, with an elegant cloak and posh shoes.
To all intents and purposes, the piece has the appearance of a very expensive bronze.
It is a beautiful sculpture that displays well wherever it is placed.
