Pair Antique Victorian Brass Flat Irons

Description

A fantastic pair of antique Victorian brass flat irons or box irons dating from circa 1890. In polished brass with turned wooden handles and complete with original heating “slugs”. The heating slug would be heated in the fire before placing it in the box via the gate at the rear. These charming little irons would have been used for ironing cuffs or collars. They would make lovely decorative display items for a cottage kitchen or period house.
