Early 20th century,circa 1920s

With lighter pink ''abrash'' (tonal change of colour of the wool by the weaver) band running across.

To the centre is a pictogram.

Fine kurk wool pile.

Hand washed & dusted. Plenty of images of rug.

5 foot 5 inches by 3 foot 5 inches. 166cm X 104cm. Kurk wool pile hand knotted onto cotton foundations,wefts dyed light blue.
