Gents 1950s Marvin Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

Gents 1950s Marvin wrist watch.

The watch has a calibre 560 15-jewel (3 adjustments) hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Marvin name.

The watch is a good wearable size at 37mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chrome plated while the case back is stainless steel. There is general light surface marking but all acceptable for a 1950s piece.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original dauphine shaped hands, centre seconds hand and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
