Gents Zenith Curvex Wrist Watch, 1938

1920 - 1940
Description

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement, Zenith calibre 83/4F, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Zenith name and it has the serial number 3133157 which dates it back to 1938.

The watch measures 23mm wide excluding the winding crown and 37mm high excluding the lugs. The case is chrome plated. The front and sides have general light marking, the back has marking / pitting.

The main face of the lens is in good condition, a little marking and old glue residue around the edge.

The signed dial is in its original finish. The detailing has faded a little over the years. Blued steel hands.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
